Thoeris was once a feared Empire, ruled by a power hungry Pharaoh that ordered everything to be brought to him. The best horses, camels, slaves, wheat. The cities were in ruins, people were starving and dying from diseases. All was thought to be lost.. The Grand Prince the son of the Pharaoh, Atum, despised everything his father was, as the years went on, the conditions grew worse which pushed Atum to the edge. On the night that the wheat came in, Atum was summoned to his fathers chambers for dinner, at this, Atum began to speak to his father about the suffrage of the people and how the cities would die out, the Pharaoh was outraged and started to claim his son was disloyal and a traitor to his work, quickly he ordered Atum to his death, but before he could utter more words to alert the guards, he began to choke, gripping his neck, the Pharaoh's gaze went to his son... The last words the Pharaoh uttered were but a mere whisper.. you p...poisoned me., you will rue the day you ever treaded on my path.
After his fathers death, Atum became the Pharaoh of the lands, turning every thing around for the better.
